Head of Comms and Public Affairs: 18 month contract starting January – house building affiliate organisation

Are you an Associate Director or in-house Senior Comms Manager with some public affairs experience looking to step up to a more senior role?

• Do you wish you had more opportunity to hone in on strategic planning and focus less on firefighting?

If so, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for:

• Newly created role to shape the comms strategy and messaging for members, government and consumers
• Reporting to the COO you will be one of the most senior people in this not-for-profit house building affiliate organisation
• You will lead on all communications - develop, integrate, and implement PR activities to increase and enhance brand awareness as well as mentor a junior member of the team
• This is a fully remote role with occasional travel into London, perhaps just once a week
  

What we are looking for:

• Must have both corporate comms experience and public affairs/policy experience to get the stakeholder engagement tone right
• Bring your housebuilding knowledge to the table - having property press contacts is essential
• Likely to be currently working in a corporate and public affairs role at Associate Director level, ready to lead OR working in-house at a Senior Manager/head of a department level ready to lead the direction of travel
