contingency recruitment
Simple but effective - we manage a comprehensive database of candidates registered with us and select those who most closely match the needs of each individual client. We attract candidates through referrals and candidates who throughout their career return to The Works and extensive advertising campaigns - typically with PR Week, The Guardian and TotalJobs.

We have many long-term relationships with our candidates, who throughout their career return to The Works.

advertised selection
Most vacancies need to attract a particular type of person who is often in short supply. To meet this need, we offer an advertising service, placing advertisements with tailored copy and your company branding in publications such as PR Week or The Guardian. Due to our existing contracts with such publications, we are able to negotiate significantly discounted advertising rates which we can then pass on to you. We will also handle the production and response for you and finalise a shortlist for interview.

executive search
We are particularly effective in searching for senior level candidates with specific skills, and we will use our extensive market knowledge and database alongside dedicated researchers to seek out potential candidates who are appropriate for the role. Preliminary interviews by us filter out unsuitable candidates and we present the final shortlist to the client.

On both a contingency and executive search basis we offer a fair rebate structure to cover candidates' probation periods in the unlikely event that the placement does not work out.
